I prefer variety in a course, land to negotiate as well as some traffic. Also I like the elements to play a part, rain, time of day, a choice of route to the next mark where a wrong choice could be the 'be all' or 'end all'. What I do not like are the long drawn out courses where you begin to feel part of a procession, it becomes rather tedious. Well, that's enough of my rant, what do you guys like?

i prefer classic races such as triangle (olympic), etc....

from my experience i found out that a lot of skippers don't like sunset or night maps. they also don't like light winds! they want a simple short course! but... you can always try with your ideas! good luck 

i like all courses, but i not like a crazy races ....hehehhe
